EMERGENCY. est un espace d’art contemporain fondé en 2016 par le collectif Einzweidrei. EMERGENCY. présente cinq expositions par année, d’une durée de quatre semaines chacune. EMERGENCY. est un espace commercial loué dans un but non-commercial. EMERGENCY. est le prolongement des dix années d’activités du collectif. EMERGENCY. sert de plateforme de création, de rencontre et de dialogue entre des artistes et le public.
Emergency a fermé ses portes en 2020. Le collectif Einzweidrei a inauguré un nouvel espace en 2021, dédié au bijou contemporain et à la céramique www.espaceborax.ch

EMERGENCY. is a new space for contemporary art, founded in 2016 by the Einzweidrei collective. EMERGENCY. presents five exhibitions per year, each lasting four weeks. EMERGENCY. is a commercial space rented for a non-commercial purpose. EMERGENCY. is the prolongation of ten years of activity by the collective. EMERGENCY. acts as a platform for creation, encounters and dialogue between artists and audiences.
Opening times
EMERGENCY. is open during the exhibitions as follows: THURS-FRI: 2PM-6.30PM / SAT-SUN: 1PM-6PM
Admission is free. The space can be opened upon request (one week in advance) for school classes, on Wednesday afternoons.
Find us / parking
EMERGENCY. is located five minutes on foot from the railway station, at rue de la Byronne 20 in Vevey (Switzerland).
From the station, take the road between the Manor and the Migros Coindet, take the rue Gustave-Coindet for 100 metres then turn right onto rue de la Byronne. Access is via the back. The space is wheelchair accessible.
Vevey is an hour from Geneva by train, and 20 minutes from Montreux by bus.
The gallery is on a pedestrian street, but cars can park 3 minutes away in the Manor underground parking (MON-SAT), or the parking of the Migros Deux-Gare, or a little further on the Place du Marché (5 minutes on foot taking the avenue Nestlé).
